Your Invitation To Play The Game Of Bowls

We would like to personally welcome and invite you to try the game of Lawn Bowls. Telephone, or call in at Rhodes Park Bowling Club and enquire how you can try the game of bowls. We have coaching sessions and will answer all your questions regarding the game, organise the loan of a set of bowls and arrange for YOU to be taken out onto the green. YOU will be guided on how to place the mat at the beginning of play, how to hold the bowl or kitty in your hand, how to stand on the mat, and how to deliver the bowl along the selected grass line. All these aspects are important in learning a smooth and consistent delivery, one that will allow you to develop in the game of bowls. Further practice can be arranged, and you will be invited to join our club if you so desire.

Rhodes Park Bowling Club is situated in Rhodes Park the area is quiet and picturesque with a large bird population. The club has all amenities plus from the bar area a full view of the bowling greens. The club has an energetic entertainment committee with various social activities on a regular basis, we also host a monthly Sunday braai and casual day which is very popular with members, family and  friends.
