Club House in 1957

Rhodes Park Bowling Club was formed in 1957 due to a break up caused by a difference of opinions between members regarding existing composite club and the bowling section The bowlers felt that they should have there own club and as a agreed that Kensington Polytechnic Club  moved out to the old Patonian club of Bedfordview. The bowlers remained at Rhodes Park. During the move the club bell which was hidden by one of the then members Cliff Walker without any other members knowing. The bell remains at Rhodes Park Club still today.
